Neighbor   5' short film

Synopsis:  The “Neighbor”  underscores the gentrification which is a common argument in the various regions in Istanbul, focusing on Dolapdere, Irmak street. During this modernization process, my experiences walking in the urban environment have stimulated me to visualize the differences between modern buildings and their environment. This spatial experimentation begins with the modern gallery of Arter which was constructed last year and its environment. The film elaborates on Dolapdere's multi-cultural, and historical aspects to recognize each side in-depth, through the distinct immersive environment.
